Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our growing tech team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend services and APIs. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Build robust and scalable APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
  • Design and optimize database schemas for MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Integrate and manage backend services using Supabase.
  • Write clean, efficient, and testable code in Python for specific backend tasks or data processing pipelines.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Document technical processes and decisions for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a backend engineer or similar role.
  • Proficient in Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with Python for backend tasks.
  • Solid understanding of database design with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
